1. What this policy covers

This Cookie Policy explains how Elevn (“we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use the Elevn platform. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and operate securely. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage used by web applications.

3. How we use cookies

Elevn uses a minimal set of cookies, focused on authentication, security, and payment checkout. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies on the marketing site.

4. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the Service to function. They cannot be switched off in our systems. Under UK privacy rules, we do not need your consent to use strictly necessary cookies.

  • next-auth.session-token — keeps you signed in to your Elevn account. Duration: session or as configured by our authentication provider.
  • next-auth.csrf-token — helps protect sign-in and sign-out actions against cross-site request forgery. Duration: session.
  • __Secure-next-auth.callback-url — stores the page to return to after authentication. Duration: short-lived.

Payment provider cookies

When you subscribe to a paid plan, you are redirected to Stripe Checkout or the Stripe Customer Portal. Stripe may set cookies on your device to process payments securely and prevent fraud. These cookies are set only during the checkout or billing-management flow.

  • Stripe cookies — payment processing, fraud prevention, and checkout session management. See Stripe’s privacy and cookie documentation for details.

5. Cookies we do not use

  • We do not currently use marketing or retargeting cookies.
  • We do not currently use third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) on the public marketing site.
  • We do not sell data collected through cookies.

If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before setting them.

6. How to control cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Service — including sign-in — may not work correctly.

To stop being signed in, use the log out option in the app. This ends your session and clears session-related authentication cookies.

For Stripe cookies, you can manage preferences through your browser or visit Stripe’s policies directly at stripe.com/privacy.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies changes. Material updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
